Meet the team ..

Jason

Jason spent the early years of his professional life as an IT consultant specialising in Network Security.  After 15 years in the industry it was time for a fresh challenge and one which would incorporate Jason's long time passion for photography.

Following a move to Wales in 2001, Jason realised this ambition, working as a motor sport photographer. Quickly gaining a reputation as a much respected field photographer, it was through corporate clients that Jason developed a love for portraiture and event shoots: soon going on to win awards for his studio and wedding work and this success provided the inspiration to launch Old Mill Studios in 2009.

Jason is a perfectionist and a great stickler for detail. His creative approach and technical ability behind the lens is rivalled only by his first class post production flair which give clients creative and original solutions from solo sittings, to large corporate functions and weddings.

Lorna

A native of Wales, Lorna ran her own interior design practice for 20 years before joining forces with Jason and the Old Mill Studios in 2008.

As studio manager and co-ordinator, her background in design brings a great eye for detail to the team – always on the look out for great locations and shots with a twist, particularly valuable when clients are looking for photographs to use as art in their homes or businesses.

Lorna’s attention for detail and organisational skills contribute
to the team’s success in making shoots run smoothly at all times and
she is always happy to discuss individual ideas and projects
with clients.

Heather

Heather joined the team in 2009, assisting Jason on wedding
and portraiture location shoots.

Her unflappable, calm approach puts even the most nervous
folk at ease and says that, as a Mum, she has a first class degree in patience!

Her eye for detail is superb and she is usually found fluffing up a bride’s train or cajoling a tearful toddler into smiles.

Before joining the team Heather worked in customer services and retail management but now, when not assisting at the Old Mill,  she sings professionally at private events and weddings. There is a link to her
Web site on our Links page.
